A busy traditional English pub interior in Primrose Hill, London. Warm amber light, a packed bar, people talking closely, pint glasses raised, the rich wood panelling of a proper local. BACK

A pub in Primrose Hill, London

A pub in Primrose Hill, north London. You arrive from outside — the street, the October air, the sound of the city pulling back as the door closes behind you. Then the noise of the room hits. It is packed. Music plays from somewhere — prominent at first, then slowly absorbed into the background as voices take over. People lean in to be heard. Pints are raised. The bar is three deep. The bartender's voice cuts through periodically: prices, quantities, a call for last orders that nobody quite acknowledges. The recording tracks from the exterior into the full interior, a natural transition. Zoom H6 in X/Y configuration. The first half belongs to the music; the second half to the crowd. Both are worth sitting with.
